How to Apply
A step-by-step guide to applying for NACTE accreditation.
Eligibility Requirements
Any public or private sector university, college, or affiliated institution offering a teacher education degree programme in Pakistan may apply for accreditation. New programs without a graduating cohort apply for Zero Accreditation; established programs with graduates apply for Formal Accreditation. Institutions must first register an official Focal Person to represent them throughout the process.
Application Process
From registration to a final Council decision, every application follows the same six-step path.
Register a Focal Person
Your institute registers an official Focal Person to represent it in the accreditation process.
Submit Application & Fee
Complete the online application and pay the applicable accreditation fee for your program.
Upload Documents
Upload the required institutional and programme documentation for review.
Desk Analysis
NACTE conducts a thorough desk review of the submitted documentation against national standards.
Site Visit
A trained expert evaluator conducts an on-site visit within 4 months of application to verify facilities and evidence.
Council Decision
The Council reviews the case and issues the final accreditation level and validity period.
