The meeting started with the recitation from the Holy Quran, The Chairperson NACTE welcomed the members for sparing time to attend the meeting. Chairperson then asked Secretary NACTE to present agenda items for deliberations. The council members appreciated the hard work done by the council secretariat. Council approved recommendations of the National Accreditation Committee (NAC) for allowing zero accreditation to thirty-two (32) teacher education programmes. Council also approved the recommendation of NAC for formal accreditation levels of thirty-one (31) teacher education programmes.

It was commendable progress that NACTE secretariat organized thirty-two (32) zero accreditation visits and thirty-one (31) formal accreditation visits within a period of nine months.
